RMR

Congratulations to Justin Wilson for 8th place in A flight and Christian Krahenbuhl for 3rd place in D flight. Sounds like we had some guys in the break in B flight who were in position to do well but were taken out by punctures.

DMV

Steve Albrecht is becoming known as the Dave Harward of the B flight, notching another win at DMV. Elliott Smith placed 3rd in A flight, Mark Albrecht 8th in B flight, Jon Nelson 3rd in C flight, and Christian Krahenbuhl 2nd in D flight.

Saltair

Elliott hit all the mid-week races this week, finishing 2nd in A flight at Saltair. Justin Wilson finished 4th. Justin Allen won the C flight, with Jon Nelson finishing 5th. Christian Krahenbuhl also hit every midweek race this week, finishing 3rd in D flight.

47 cyclists took the line in the 1-2-3 field at the Tour of Utah amateur criterium. Less than a third finished, with the field having been shattered by attacks from the outset.

Amongst those surviving were Justin Wilson, Scott Preston (8th), and Elliott Smith (3rd). Congratulations on surviving a brutal race and representing the team well.

Miller Motorsports Park Racing Series 8-5-10

This race report comes from Mike Hales..

Revolution represented well again at Miller Motorsports Park, with Curt Doman bringing home 1st in the A flite, and Mike Hales bringing home 1st in the B flite, with Will Hansen taking home 3rd. After a microburst cooled things down and wet the track for us we headed out on the east track for the race. Thunderstorm cells around us threatened but we made the whole race without significant rain. Will and Curt took turns attacking early on, with Mike playing the role of boat anchor for the chasers, the race staccato'd between fast and slow. Several small attacks made gaps, but nothing really stuck, as anything significant was chased down. Several times a Rev, Canyon and Spin trio formed up, but Cole Sport seemed to always be odd man out and made chase. The longest break of the race was Will off the front solo. He made several laps by himself but was caught within 1k of the finish. Shortly before the last and wettest turn, the big boys launched. Curt proved fastest of the bunch with a nice buffer for the win. Mike and Andre from Canyon crossed even on the line for second overall, good enough for first in the B's, and Will managed to grab hold of the freight train as it went by and snagged a great third place, especially after so much time alone in the wind.

Great report Mike, thanks!
